I love okra and this is my favorite way to enjoy it.

Steam fried Okra and Onions
4 c. of sliced fresh okra
1/2 onion, diced
1-2 T. oil
salt to taste
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add okra and onions. Cover and
stir frequently. When okra is tender, but still bright green, it is
finished. Add salt to taste. Cooks in about 10 minutes.
