1. Starsailor "On the Outside"

Following a sold-out UK tour which culminated in a victorious show at
London's Brixton Academy, Starsailor just released "On the Outside," its
third fantastic album. In a special QuickTime player, created by Bluish
using QuickTime skins, enjoy clips of the group passionately performing
new tracks live and in the studio.
On the tour the single "This Time" became a new crowd favorite,
capturing the essence of the band's new material while maintaining the
piano driven sound that propelled the band to its early success. See the

On his first solo venture after the break-up of indie rock band Guided
by Voices, Robert Pollard just released the 26-song "From a Compound

Does your application need to create a custom visual display from
QuickTime movie audio, similar to the iTunes Visualizer? Or extract the
audio from a home movie so it can substitute for audio in another video
clip?
If so, then the new audio extraction API, introduced with QuickTime 7,
is the tool for you. This new API allows you to very easily extract and
mix the audio from multiple sound tracks contained in a QuickTime movie
and convert this audio to raw PCM (pulse code modulation) data. You can
then use the raw audio data for playback, export or direct manipulation
in your application.
