Objection. You git the semantics wrong:
$ echo 'a' | sed -e '/a/Q'
$ echo 'a' | sed -e '/a/p;q'
> a
> a
This should do the job though (don't leave out the {} grouping):
- -ne '/^$/Q'
+ -ne '/^$/{d;q}'
