Is there a way to get SCGI subprocesses to exit and be respawned after
a certain lifetime. I'm getting a lot of "MySQL server has gone away"
errors on my new server, and the problem seems to be lingering MySQLdb
connections that remain idle until the server unilaterally shuts them
down. I've set the mysqld timeout to 24 hours but it's still
happening. So I'd like my SCGI subprocesses to last for 8 hours max.

Who's all going to PyCon? I'll be there.
