What are you trying to do? It would help to define your goal rather than the sticks and stones you're stumblilng over. You might be on the wrong path; there may not be a path. Dunno, Help us out.
First, I don't use HGSI, but I occasionally use the HGS version that comes with QP2. Although I'm not certain, I'd be surprised if there weren't very similar, if not identical, output, or export, features. Second, "Last Date" field, if you mean a parameter in a QP2 scan, would have nothing to do with getting a symbol list importable into Ami. It would have to do with the content of that list, but not with getting it into Ami. To create a list from a QP2 scan you can put into Ami doesn't require HGSI. Just create a textfile scan list and output that file with (or change to) the extension *.lst). From HGS, create your table and output, via the FILE menu, a QP symbol list with (or change to) the extension *.lst. In Ami, go to the SYMBOL/Watch List/Import, choose the Watch List you want to input to, then on the next screen find the file you saved your list to and import. It will be in that Watch List. There is another way using the Import Wizard, but from what you stated, it isn't necessary simply to get your list into Ami. In any case, all you have to do is create a text symbol list, save it with (or change it to) a *.lst extension for it to be importable into Ami. The only thing to watch for in this text symbol list is to keep the symbol as the first data item in each line; each symbol must be on a new line. Exporting from HGS as a QP symbol file will give you such a text symbol list. I just did it twice. I hope this helps. If not, let's try again. I can't see what those on the message board are having trouble with. I suspect there's something you haven't mentioned. Obviously, I don't understand the situation...
