I run scans each night and have the output of these scans formatted
to a .csv file. I am noticing a problem with the symbol BIG. The
descriptions of your stocks are usually in large caps, but this
particular stock is small caps (except for the first letter). Also
there is a comma within the stock name, thus messing up the row
formatting. When I open the .csv file BIG tends to throw data off to
the right because of the comma within the stock name.
The stock name appears as:
Big Lots, Inc. Com
No other stock name has a comma before the abbreviation INC. Does
this need correcting?
