I just started using the QP_HighPE and QP_LowPE Excel functions
thinking they would be useful in identifying low priced stocks but i
see problems with these..

For exampe..

ticker: HBIO which QP has data for since 12/7/2000....
The current p/e is given as 20. The QP_LowPE function yields
5.19, however, the QP_HighPE function yields 0.00 !! Why is this?
There has to be a high pe is there is a low pe..even if it is the
current p/e and the current p/e is higher than the low p/e..so this
makes zero sense to me.

Also, there are lots of cases where the current p/e is negative yet
the low p/e is given as 0.

And of course, most stocks have a 0 for both low and high p/e...not
too useful.

Please advise.

Thx.
