Sledge I noticed that Gary has answered your question. When I try to create a scan, I first find a scan that has some of the features that I want, then modify it. Gary, for beta could include a detailed tutorial on the fine points of writing scans and setting the header and column widths so that everything lines up. Could you also change the character of the numbers that show up in the columns of a scan so that they can be easily and correctly used for sorting the output? Lionel
