I have recently "upgraded" to the 64-bit version of Vista, with Excel
2007, and I now have the following issue:

1. I install the Qp2 Excel add-in (which is under C:\Quotes Plus
Data\Excel\qp21.com).
2. I open a workbook using the add-in. It doesn't matter, which. The
sample "Analyst Recommendations" in the Excel directory of QP2 will do.
3. The add-in does not work. The functions all return a "#VALUE!"
error. Even more importantly, Excel is now totally disabled: I can no
longer save any workbook, nor can I open one from within Excel. The
"Open" and "Save as" dialogs will simply not display. At this point,
it doesn't matter, if I am viewing a workbook including qp21
functions, or not. I can open workbooks by double-click from an
Explorer window, but not from within Excel. Saving is impossible
altogether. Occasionally, Excel will crash at this point. Sometimes,
it doesn't.
4. If it's still open, I close Excel. I then open the registry editor
and remove the 'OPEN' entry relating to the qp21 add-in under
HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel\Options.
5. Excel behaves normally again. I can open and save files. But I
don't have the qp2 add-in.

I am sure, the problem can be solved by simply uninstalling Windows
Vista 64-bit, and going with a 32-bit version. That's not an option
for me.

Is there any way for me to use the QP2 add-in under Vista 64-bit? Has
anyone else had success with that?

Thanks,
Matthias
