Do you automatically export selected symbols from your nightly QP data into your MetaStock data base? If you do, all you need to do is eliminate the holiday data in the MetaStock data base using the MetaStock downloader program. All subsequent daily exports from then on will only be for the then current date. The export program does not look back for missing dates.
