the wikipedia page gives various hints on how to access access keys on various platforms. i *think* i tried them all, with 'f' (to go to the search bar). possibly a line in my config.py is overriding the ability to use access keys. anyway, if anyone has a thought, i'd be grateful. cheers, Greg
