Hi Guys.
Continue with the ILBC questions.
I remember that some time ago there was an issue raised on the mailing list
that the actual ILBC license was not compatible with the Openwengo/Qutecom
license. I have read the lincense a know a little where the issue is.
Just thinking from the top of my head here but,
Could there be a way that maybe including the ILBC codec DLL in a diferent
installer process, with a different license. This process could maybe trigger
after the installer resolves.
Then it could attach the codec(I dont know if it is in a separete DLL) Could
this be like a workaround to this issue? Are there any other workarrounds to
this issue that maybe you can think of?
What are your thoughts on this?
I mean, ILBC seens to be the codec of choice for most of the popular voip
applications.
And also seens to be better than SPEEX or PCMU.
Are there any plans to include the codec? Maybe to the coip-branch, or older
branches?
Thanks in advance
CJC!
