Hello there,

first of all: I am very happy to see that, although Wengo has quit that job,
the development of Wengophone is beeing continued. Thanks a lot!

I would like to ask two questions concerning the roadmap and the design of
qutecom:

        1. Encryption: I can see, that the current version of qutecom already
supports SRTP encryption, but afaiu this is only usable, if the SIP provider
offers support for a public key infrastructure, which isn't done by most of
the providers. An alterantive to a PKI is key exchange over RTP, as it is
done in the ZRTP protocol [1] of Phil Zimmermann. Some clients (Twinkle, SIP
communicator, planned in Ekiga) already support ZRTP nativly --- Zimmerman
released a GPL-licensed libzrtp to do that easily. With many other clients
you can make encrypted calls with the zfone [2] program of Zimmerman.

Is there any plan to support ZRTP in qutecom?

        2. COIP concept: I really like the idea of the COIP concept you seem to
be
implementing in future versions of qutecom. Do you know about the Telepathy
framework [3, 4]? I think, the conecept of Telepathy fits very well with your
COIP concept.

Have you already considered to use it for further versions of qutecom?

Okay, thats it, what I wanted to ask.
Kind regards,

micu

PS: Do you have any idea what can be the reason for the nasty bug
