Hey QC team! I've got a question I hope you don't mind answering, if
possible.

How well does QuteCom work with Jabber/XMPP conferences, currently? I
am asking this because in the (hopefully) near future I plan on
implementing for my own projects a replacement for PalTalk/InSpeak/etc.
where group-chatting is combined with voice conferencing. I plan on
using the FreeSWITCH server along with an XMPP server (I haven't started
with this yet, so I don't know which I want to use right now). The goal
is to have my clients be able to use one application to connect to both
the SIP & XMPP server, and thus be able to listen to whatever is being
broadcast (e.g., a lesson) while simultaneously being able to chat with
other attendees & the instructor, for example.

An interface akin to PalTalk would be great for this, whereby the bulk
of the display is a scrolling block of all comments made by others while
the a listing in the right column of all connected users is display
vertically. The interface for XMPP in Pidgin is excellent for this
goal, in my opinion. Very compact but distinct (different users are
given different colors, generally). Of course, if it's already fully
implemented, then you can ignore my suggestions. ;)

I haven't been able to work with QuteCom enough to know it's
multi-protocol capabilities, so I hope my question doesn't seem naïve.
I am also severely bandwidth impaired in my currently location at this
time, so it is not easy for me to test from the trunk or otherwise yet.

Thanks in advance!
