Laurent, Vadim, do you remember why this patch is needed? prefs_hash
is a static pointer, assigned with a valid structure the first time
the init function is called. Looks like the idea of the libpurple
developer was to reuse it. Do you remember why it crashes if we don't
destroy it?
I am asking because I would like to gather some info about it and ask
the debian maintainer for libpurple to include the patch.
