What does it mean? It doesn't make sense, what do you mean with "alias"?
Anyway, it should send just '''one''' PUBLISH with "Event: presence", not
two. And they are identical (there is no reason for this at all).
Please, check also the bug #85 in which this second PUBLISH causes a
problem. And check also both PUBLISH requests (identical) in comment 4:
