In last mercurial revision css is used on Windows only, so i suppose that
you are using Windows :
1/download RC3, install => no problem
2/clone trunk, build debug (i see that you're are using debug mode)=> no
problem
I think you've got a problem with your environment ...
Please verify that
*:/pics/history/filter.png* is realy embeded in your qt resource
Qt is build with a working png support
QuteCom can load all image plugins of Qt
...
What is your Qt version ? (I use Qt 4.5 )
