Hi Is QuteCom dead? Any chance of a final release? I checked the trac and it looks quite desolate, the only recent changes were 2 months ago and then almost a year ago.
My issues with the latest RC2: - the process does not close immediately when I close the program. In fact on Windows Vista (sigh) it can continue to run for quite some time, even indefinitely. On my gentoo box it keeps running for some time too, up to a minute. I sometimes have to kill the process to relaunch it. - it provides next to no feeback on error messages. When I want to give a skype alternative to non tech savvy friends and family, I absolutely need to know what the exact error is if one occurs. If it wont log in, I need to know why. If there's a sound issue, I need to know why. If anything at all goes wrong, I need to know why. QC seems to dislike being verbose on its problems.
