Hello,

Nikita just added a OS field into the ticket form
so i think Chris's sugestion to use os name as part of version code becomes moot

Thanks
Vadim

At the moment Milestones are effectively duplicates of Versions.
I would suggest to keep Milestones as they are, and replace Versions
with: "All OS", "Linux", "OSX", "Windows'.

If I understand correctly how trac is supposed to be used, "version"
should be the first version of the software the bug was found, while
"milestone" is the future version for which the bugfix is targeted.

So "version" should only allow older versions, "milestone" only future versions.

The problem is that is has not always used/enforced correctly.

Now that Laurent fixed all the milestone fileld, you can get nice reports like:
http://trac.qutecom.org/roadmap

When all the bug for milestone 2.2-RC4 has been fixed or moved to the
next milestone, than RC4 can be released!

If we want another filed with the OS, I think it should be easy to
add... (even if I never did it myself).

My 2 cents,
Ludovico
