I found that my issue was more in field mapping and understanding contactlist.xml
Example: j...@somesmtphost.tld j...@gmail.com j...@yahoo.com joe...@somesiphost.tld The yahoo and gmail will be both email addresses and IM contacts. The sip address maps into email as does the primary smtp host account. I'm not a programmer much beyond the capabilities of sed awk and scavenged snippets of perl, so I haven't explored the code to see if contactlist.xml is capable of more than two email records per address book entry. Thanks again guys Darrin. ------Original Message------ From: QuteCom Sender: qutecom-dev-boun...@lists.qutecom.org Cc: qutecom-dev@lists.qutecom.org ReplyTo: qutecom-dev@lists.qutecom.org Subject: Re: [QuteCom] #16: Import many contacts from CSV file Sent: Sep 6, 2010 10:40 #16: Import many contacts from CSV file --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Reporter: ferite | Owner: laurent Type: enhancement | Status: new Priority: major | Milestone: QuteCom 2.3 Component: GUI | Version: 2.3 Resolution: | Keywords: contacts, import Field_os: all | --------------------------+------------------------------------------------- Comment(by halys): Is always planned in "QuteCom 2.3" to implement in QuteCom GUI the possibility to import contact list (from csv, vcard, outlook, ...)
