ok, I'll look at the manual one more time, I'm not quite sure how to delete the unselected parts of the midi file but I guess you could just select them and delete, I"ll see in the manual. Thanks. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Bowden" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Hi Simon,

I'm trying to copy multiple tracks into another midi file ...

So, you want to extract a portion of an existing MIDI file and put it in another?

I'd do this by deleting all the original MIDI file you don't want and then saving the result with a new name. You could use markers to help speed up locating the bits you don't want to keep.

I think all the topics you might want to check in the manual are in the Features and Functions (main) section.

Does this help?

James.
