hi. Thanks so much for the fast response. I also figured out you could also 
save each track as a midi0 type file and append the parts as you see fits.

  Read the manual to work out how to use markers, or record your output to 
something like sound forge, cdex, goldwave (not that!)  Audacity etc, and 
simply mute and unmute the parts as you see fit.

    Hi. I was able to get the Yamaha synthesizer and it works just fine. My 
question now is how can I tell certain instruments to stop playing at one point 
in a song, then start playing again in another part of the song. E.G. How can I 
have certain ones for the verses play, and others come in during the course of
