Hi, when I used QWS on my Windows XP machine, which is now broke, I didn't experience the problem you described. So it could be your system in this case. Sorry about that. ----- Original Message ----- From: Simon Jaeger [simon4599] To: QWS list Sent: Monday, November 12, 2007 6:11 PM Subject: QWS List does anyone else have this problem?
Hello, I have a rather narge number of midi ports including 20 virtual midi ports and three synthesizers. Often when I close QWS it doesn't unload properly and just sites there hogging all the midi ports, so i have to go into task manager and get rid of it. When I don't realize it, the new instance of qws loads and can't open any ports. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, this is a suggestion to the qws list. THere needs to be some way of easily freeing up all midi ports and unloading qws. Simon Chris Hallsworth BrailleNote mPower User Website: www.chrishallsworth.co.nr
