The usual problem when you cannot select all the instruments in an
instrument list is that there are errors in the list.
This is indeed the case in your list: you have some instruments using the
same program and bank numbers as others.
Compare, for example:
Line 452:
-1,113,000,417. Tinkle Bell
with line 458:
-1,113,0,423. Agogo
Notice that the program and bank numbers are identical. This is why, when
you CURSOR DOWN from instrument number 422, it jumps back to 417.
There are other places where this happens too.
My only advice is to check the program and bank numbers for the faulty
instrument lines.
Here's a way to find the faulty ones:
Load the instrument list and create a track that uses it.
Then CURSOR DOWN in the instrument list until you hit a loop (i.e. it jumps
backward to an earlier instrument). This shows you have a pair of
instruments sharing the same program and bank numbers. Then fix the problem
and reload the file and keep going until you fix them all.
