Hi David, The thing I say to everyone when using QWS is:
Read the status bar at the bottom.It shows you hopefully everything you want to know, especially in the note editor.
Incidentally, there's also the onscreen keyboard (in the MIDI menu) that will let you "play" notes using your PC keyboard.
