Hi, Ok, following some posts on this list a little while ago I installed a program called synthfont and it works fine, thank you to those who posted.
However, this laptop only has a sigmatel card on board and therefore no midi inputs and only the microsoft synth as output. I'm wondering if there is a way to get qws to output to synthfont such that I can use the fonts I can load. Actually, on the subject, is there a way to install synth font as a midi input/output device in general. The player in synthfont isn't too bad but it'd be nice to have a bit more control and obviously really nice to hear things the way they'll actually sound when I'm editing.
