OK, there is a way to do what you want to do in QWS - it's actually quite simple.
Just press CTRL+RIGHT or CTRL+LEFT to move to the next ot previous beat containing data. Then, as you want to see things in detail, I suggest the Event List (CTRL+L) will probably be the best.
