You cannot install a driver for a keyboard unless that keyboard has a usb
port. Your keyboard has a midi port, and so you would not be able to update
it in the fassion you are trying too.
Right now, your setup works. Don't try to fix what is not broken. Your USB
midi interface functions. Given that this is the case, exactly what else
are you trying to achieve here?

|| Hi,
||
|| Anyone care to offer up a suggestion on installing an updated driver or
|| drivers for my Yamaha synth? I did find what appears to be such a
creature,
|| but it contains nearly 100 .inf files, along with a single .sys file, and
a
|| couple other files, but no installation executable file. Interestingly,
|| there is an uninstall executable.
||
|| I originally came across references to ux16, but found a driver file
named
|| um223xp2.zip on a Yamaha site (or it appears to be a Yamaha site.)
||
|| Thanks all.
