Sometimes I've found that soundmax cards won't work with asio if something
else is using them. If you have something like a USB headset you could
probably get it to work with ASIO a lot more easily.

Subject: RE: QWS List Asio Driver Question - was "new lister"

Hi,
I may have asked this before but I can't remember.
Since Asio drivers came up again, I am having a problem. Back when I was
using the standalone version of Synth Font, I tried Asio 4 all, and I didn't
get any sound with that, so I had to switch back.
I now want to use QWS to sequence with soundfonts and other vsts, and I got
QWS working with VST Host and a few VSTS that I found, but the asio driver
not working in the stand-alone version of Synth font is making me wonder if
it will work in anything else.
I am using a soundmax digital audio sound card. Perhaps it's too old now for
any Asio drivers to handle? I wouldn't know.
Any ideas? Thanks.
