Hi,
Find the track you want to edit, then go to tools menu, cleanup. Then you
can edit without worrying about weird note lengths. Also you can go to
tools, apply to all tracks to cleanup all tracks so you can edit any track
without a problem, but remember to uncheck apply to all tracks after doing
cleanup.
Hope this helps.

Subject: QWS List Weird Note Lengths

Hello:

This is my first post to the group, and I seem to be having a problem with
QWS. I'm using the latest version, and when I attempt to do some editing on
an existing Midi file, QWS changes note lengths on the track I'm editing.
This happens most often while changing velocities, but I've also had it
happen when copying / merging parts of a track, and splitting a drum track.
The midi file was purchased from www.midi-hits.com; I've also encountered
this with the last version of QWS as well. although not with doing a copy /
merge, or the track split by note.

Any ideas?

Terry
