what is sgm.
I am mostly a player of midis not a maker but is there any midi made with this obviously I'd have to get mp3s of it but anything close to gm or xg or whatever would work.

Hi Folks!
I have this Soundfont - its name is SGM and its version is 2.1. I could upload it wherever it is comfortable for you. Some guys have already reported me that SGM vanished from internet so we could renew its presence.
Another hint is using this SF2 with QWS. let me describe rather simple way.
you can use Synthfont or just its cutdown Syfon:

then you can make audio from MIDI file using XMPlayer:

XMplay does this job excelently.
So i'll be glad to help.
Keep on!
