Hi Raymond,

I hope you know that all the really useful numbers in manuals is for some reason stuck right at the back, perhaps in an appendix or five.

I'm guessing, but that CD might be really helpful to you right now. Probably though, you can get the manual on the internet as well. Ah yes, ffirst result on Google:

http://www.arrangerworkstation.com/manuals/TYROS-M.pdf

Don't know if this is any help, but a quick search for an instrument list was quite fruitful as well.

Hope this helps.

James.

Hmm, I downloaded my keyboard's manual, actually a store gave me a cd with it on it, as a pdf, and I converted it to text. Nowhere in it did I see any kind of midi reference. It had a few things in it which might help a little, but nothing like what I have repeatedly seen on this list that can be found in the manual, such as system exclusive messages and supported controllers. Is this more likely a problem on my end, maybe not looking enough, or not converting the whole thing over, or could it just be that it doesn't exist in some keyboard manuals? I don't have the original pdf and the cd is buried, so my chances of finding it are about 50-50.

Hi,

Making an instrument list isn't that difficult - it just requires some
patience and a manual.
Maybe some cups of coffee if you like that kind of thing.

Alternatively, you might be able to find ready-made instrument lists
in another format and transform them, but that can often take time as
well.

Hope this helps.

Whoa, now, creating an instrument list for such an instrument is going to be hard and probably take awhile, since I believe the Tyros 4 just came out two
or three months ago. You make me jealous! *smile*

  Hello!

Courtesy of Andre and myself, here is a basic QWS instrument list for the
JUNO-G: http://www.davykager.nl/uploads/INST_JUNO-G.ini
  Limitations:
  - Patches aren't numbered. I know some people don't like this, so I
thought I'd point it out.

  Cheers!
