I don't mess much with DX instruments, but there is a vst called dx shell.
there are two separate versions, one for instruments and one for effects. I
use it with VST Host. When you load it, it brings up a list of DX plug-ins,
and you just select one and you can use it. some work better than others
though.
I've used QWS for DXI, and it works perfectly, but I don't have hardly any
of those to test. I definitely don't have Dimention Pro.

As I understand it, Dimension Pro is a DXI softsynth, so you would need
something like Reaper from www.reaper.fm to host it. You could patch QWS
and Reaper together using Midi Yoke. However, that's about as far as I go.
Others can probably provide more useful info on making that work.
I've never tried using Dimension Pro either in Sonar or Reaper, so don't
know how easy it will be to do things like patch/bank changes from within
QWS, or if it's even possible.
