Hi, Thank you, Nicole for your kind words.
Nicole is right, I have not done recent development work on QWS, but there have been a whole host of reasons for this, not least, a small matter of writing two recorder concertos, which has claimed a lot of time. Before that, small matters like dying computers and moving home and changing job. So I hope you still find that QWS works fine under Windows 10 and when I have motivation, inspiration and time (all at the same time) I hope to continue development. Nicole is right, I do have a list of requested features. I cannot promise to complete them, but at least they are noted and will help to decide how to develop things further. I trust this helps. God bless, James. ----Original Message---- From: [email protected] Date: 06/05/2019 20:41 To: "QWS list"<[email protected]> Subj: RE: QWS List QWS Development? Depends on your definition of "active". James is a one person development, coding, testing, and deployment team and QWS isn't and can't be his primary focus, as it's pretty much freeware. He puts out updates from time to time, and he's got a reputedly vast list of feature suggestions. (I know he's gotten a decent list from me, at the very least) I agree that it's one of the both simplest and also the most detailed ways to work with MIDI out there. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Carlos Sent: Monday, May 06, 2019 11:17 AM To: QWS list <[email protected]> Subject: QWS List QWS Development? Hello All! Is QWS still under active development? I am a totally blind PC user and use NVDA as my primary screen reader. QWS works very well with NVDA. And, is much easier to use than REAPER! I hope that QWS will continue to be developed/upgraded for all of us who enjoy making use of it for general playing/recording of MIDI files/projects? Thank You!
