When do your troubles start? * can you create a new track? * can you enter a track name? * can you navigate to the midi track number combo box right after the track name in the track properties dialog?
I had a problem a couple of times where I couldn't enter the track name into the track properties dialog, and couldn't navigate to the midi track number combo box in the track properties dialog. Only thing I could do was uninstall and reinstall QWS. Then it crept back a couple of times so I repeated the process until it worked again. I'm using the latest QWS version, the latest Windows 10 version, and the latest release version of JAWS 2021. I selected ports with track properties. The port didn't open and the file didn't play. It's apparent that there's a computer problem because this synth works as it should with Win 7. It's above my knowledge so I asked a knowledgeable computer man for help. I thank you and Nicole for your thoughts. Joe G.
