No problem. I've dealt with some pretty complex definition list stuff. (my Nyyki'sBigMap.ini file has over 19,000 entries in it) I like finding things the system snags on because that way I can fix them and know a bit more about what can foul one of these up. Glad you got it worked out.

Stupidly when I went in to choose the instrument list I forgot to change the port to Yamaha. I feel such a fool. But, it’s usually the most simple and obvious thing that is the solution. Hope I haven’t fried your brain. Thanks for trying to help. Brian On 4 Jul 2021, at 6:40 pm, Nicole Massey <ny...@gypsyheir.com> wrote: Those look correctly formatted. Does it use high-definition bank numbers? If not you'll need to multiply all your banks by 128. But that shouldn't affect the name list. From what you've said you've loaded it to the correct port, so that shouldn't be a problem either. What did you edit this in? Maybe there are some hidden characters messing up the list. Try this: Pull up the track data and go to the patch list window. Type h and see what happens. I have transcribed the instrument list into the Qws format. Each part is separated by a comma and each instrument voice starts on a separate line. It says it loaded correctly into QWS. However, when I create a new song, I press enter, select the track number, select the keyboard in the ports, I then move to the instrument list. The name list doesn’t appear, just the program numbers list. Can anyone suggest what I have missed. each section of the list is separated by a comma, and each instrument voice starts on a New line.
