Hi, I can’t help you with the schematic you’re looking for.  I assume you’ve 
seen Marcotte’s Electric Radio article on this conversion which is what I 
followed when I installed an R390 i.f. in my R390a. I found his article very 
complete step by step.  The cabling and adapters for connection was the part 
that took some improvising because of the connectors I found available at the 
time.
