The COVID is over, I am back again with new energy to bother you… 😁

I empirically tested the so-said "SSB adapter" made up by a diode bridge 
connected to the line out and the AGC input.

It is not bad, for it’s simplicity, and makes the 390A alone to behave more 
like the CV-591. I cannot understand how it works. It seems to me to be simply 
a real-time negative feedback to the AGC.

Has somebody tested it as well or knows something more?
