Hi Barry,

That table is also on the TM 11-856, parag. 101, page 103.
For me, the typo originate from there (as the mechanical cams positioning
text error does).
I agree with you that it should be 18-32 MHz.

BTW, the "missing leading parenthesis" exist only in the OCR version of the
TM 11-5820-357-35....
But it is present in the non-OCR version !
I do not like the OCR version, apart from the fact that it is more
"searchable" .
All the pictures within are a mess, too, IMHO.
I will send you the .pdf of the original (done by August Johnson KG7BZ in
1999).

There's a section in the R-390/URR manual that describes the methods to
perform stage gain tests. In TM 11-5820-357-35, the tables at top of page
58 show the stages and inputs that should yield -7v on the DIODE LOAD.

For the RF subchassis table, the column labeled "Test point E209 2d mixer
grid V204)" (the missing leading parenthesis is that way in the
manual) shows three frequency ranges: 9-18, 3-2, and 8-32. Is 8-32 a typo
and, perhaps, should be 18-32? If not, I'm not sure I understand the
overlap with 9-18.

Thanks,
Barry - N4BUQ
