Hi Karsten, Does the "inferior sensitivity" of your R-390A only occurs on specific bands, if so which ones ? You seemed to initially asking for somebody near your location that can perform an alignment on your R-390A. Does this mean that you do not have the proper equipment and/or knowledge to perform it yourself ?

From .3 to 30 MHz both output ports exhibit the same signal amplitude when each port is terminated with 50 Ohms. The difference in receiving performance is definitely that my R-390A is inferior to my 51S-1 which it should not be.
