Using the Windows installer for 2.8.1, partway through the process there is a
dialog that looks something like this:

( ) SDI (separate windows)

Those descriptions are reversed: "MDI" is Multiple Document Interface, with
separate windows; SDI is Single Document Interface, with one big window.
MDI is one big parent window containing sub-windows; in SDI they are
unconnected. The description is not reversed, but could perhaps be
improved.
