Ivan and Hadley, et al. Historically, (that is to say in June) revdep_check flags those 27 as failures (can not check) but doesn't stop working. Now, it just stops working with that error message.
My version of R is up to date (4.5.2) and I have installed the latest version of Mac OS. I will try installing X-code. I did not want to cross post to the Mac-group until i tried the developer group first. Thanks. So I'd start by figuring out why that's not happening? Is your version of R out of date? Or has one of your reverse dependencies just been submitted to CRAN and thus doesn't have a binary yet?
