That's why Greg mentioned the "cvs2cl" tools where ChangeLog is autogenerated from the CVS logs.

Well, I have been using CVS for a couple of years, but I haven't mastered the art of knowing when is the best point to commit and how to make the log messages really useful. I would be interested if anyone knows a good reference or would write an essay on this.
