I am planning some changes to the grid graphics package for the next R release. A couple of these changes impact on code which uses grid.edit() or grid.pack()
I believe that I have spoken directly to the main package maintainers who would be affected by these changes, but before I plough these changes into R I would like to check that there are no other packages out there that would be adversely affected.
If you make use of grid (specifically, if you use grid directly; lattice code is being dealt with by Deepayan), it would be helpful if you could check your code works ok. You will need to use the current development version of R AND install the experimental version of grid available at http://www.stat.auckland.ac.nz/~paul/grid/grid.html#docs
Any problems should be signalled by your code producing an error message.
