This new implementation is shifting our Data warehouse and Reporting infrastructure from DB2/Hyperion to Oracle/Cognos. Initial interviews will be a phone screen, if the candidate is successful there will be a mandatory on site interview. . The manager is seeking a BA that has data conversion project experience. The successful candidate can do requirement and functional analysis related to Data Warehouse and reporting, experience with IBM Cognos and experience with Data warehouse conversion experience. Our Client is implementing a new Claims, Policy and Billing system. · Hold functional and data analysis meetings with business staff · Determine what reports will be required at each phase of product release · Analyze existing data warehouse and operational reports · Document business reporting requirements · Communicate functional changes in reports to business staff · Participate in report design meetings · Create report design documents · Participate in data mart or views design discussions · Validate report consolidation groupings with business staff · Validate data mapping with business staff *Mandatory Skills:* · 10 or more years of experience performing requirement and functional analysis related to Data warehouse and Reporting · 7 or more years of experience facilitating data mapping and analysis meetings with business customers•2 or more years of experience designing Data warehouse reports *Desired Skills:* · Experience with data warehouse conversion efforts · Experience with IBM Cognos · Experience with Oracle RDBMS and HP Vertica · Familiarity with IBM DB2/UDB database(s) · Familiarity with SQL · Experience with Agile Methodology · Knowledge of property and casualty insurance industry systems · Knowledge of Workers compensation · Skill in the use of organizational tools & methods (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, VISIO) · Ability to quickly adapt to changes and enhancements -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-help-archive" group.
