*Position** : Application Team Lead - SQL, PL/SQL* *LOCATION : 201 S. Anaheim Blvd, Anaheim, CA 92805* *Duration : 12 Months Contract* *Only USC/GC required for C2C* *JOB Description:* Act as the Applications Team Lead for a pool of business analyst and technical developers that supports various business applications being used by the City of Anaheim. Business Applications that are being maintained/supported by the team includes among others the CGI Advantage ERP system with the following sub-systems – Advantage Financial, HRM and Performance Budgeting. *Skills Required:* MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE CONSIDERED • Must have a minimum of five years working experience in maintaining/supporting medium to large scale business applications • Must have experience acting as the primary contact in dealing with client/vendor requests and issues • Must have good problem solving, organization and planning skills • Must have technical expertise in SQL coding and troubleshooting • Must have hands-on programming experience using SQL, PL/SQL or any other equivalent versions • Must have working experience in providing production support for business applications or maintaining business applications such as troubleshooting and resolving application related issues. • Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, technical writing/documentation skills and the ability to multi-task *Optional Skills: * • Working experience in supporting/maintaining ERP systems preferably CGI Advantage version 3.10 - Financial, HRM and Performance Budgeting, is highly desirable • Working knowledge in developing and maintaining reports using third party tools such as SAP Business Objects, Crystal Reports, COGNOS or any other industry equivalent tool is desired • Working knowledge of configuration management and scheduling tools is desired • Working knowledge or familiarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle databases is a plus • Working knowledge in MS Office, Adobe Software Suite or its components is a plus *Job Responsibilities: * • Act as the primary point of contact with the client for production support issues, change control and day to day operations of assigned business applications. • Follow through on all production issues and customer inquiries to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. • Prioritize and assign target completion dates for production fixes and change controls in conjunction with the client and team members. • Assign production support tasks and change controls to team members based on priority, target completion dates, and skill sets. • Monitor team member’s progress on production support assignments and ensure timely assistance is provided so tasks are completed on time with quality results. • Ensure the change control process is followed for all production fixes and change controls. • Coordinate production support coverage to ensure jobs complete successfully and that the team is proactive to avoid production issues whenever possible. • Ensure the escalation process is followed by the team for all production issues and coordinate the effort to resolve the issues in a timely manner. • Lead the effort to perform root cause analysis for production issues and design solutions to avoid recurrence of the same issues. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "R-help-archive" group.
