*Job Description:*
·         RHEL versions 6 and 7 (for both)
·         Puppet (for the linux/devops focused role)
·         AIX (for the Linux/AIX role)
·         VMWare or other virtualization experience (For both)  Linux / AIX
system Administrator

*Required Experience: *
•   At least 5 years of experience in Linux (Redhat 6.5 & 7) / AIX
Administration.
(The majority of the of the work is going to be in the Linux (Redhat 6.5 /
Redhat 7)

*Administration Required Skills*:
•    Strong knowledge of Linux /AIX operating system including scripting,
deployment automation, and general system administration.
•    Strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols.
•    Strong knowledge of virtual environments.
•    Strong knowledge of Satellite for RHEL patching.
•    Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes.
•    Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problems (research
skills).
•   Knowledge of security practices (PCI-DSS).
•  Ability to follow change controls and security procedures.
•  Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system problems.
•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule as needed.  Off-hours
work will most likely be required.
•   Ability to think outside the box for solutions.
•  Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
•  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

*The following Preferred (not required):*
•    Virtualization - VMWare vSphere - VCP certified or relevant work
experience.
•   Compute - Cisco UCS Blade servers or IBM P Series.
•        Fluency in advanced troubleshooting skills, methodologies and
processes experience with a converged Infrastructure Platform( Cisco UCS).

*Duties / Responsibilities to include: *
•  Full range of system administration duties including security patching
and troubleshooting
•  Participation on new projects and maintaining existing Linux / AIX
systems.
•  Setup, customization, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining new
and existing Linux and Unix (AIX) infrastructure.
•  Maintaining system documentation.
•  Tuning system performance.
•  Validating and implementing critical system patches.
•  Manage systems via Red Hat Satellite Server.
• Monitor and correct issues involving, disk, memory, and CPU.
• Support ad hoc requests from development teams.
