*Job Description ;*
I have a new, 1 year + contract for an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
This is a Functional position but the person should understand technical
language (NO coding is required). *Even though position description says
Fiori and Ariba are plusses, the client **wants** experience with both*.
Please read position description carefully. Interview process will be a
phone interview followed by a Skype or WebEx interview. Please email

and Ariba experience. *
*Major Purpose of Job: *
1. Required strong SAP Functional skills in *SAP MM module*
2. Good understanding of MM configuration and functionality.
3. Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Procedures.
4. SAP Functionality related to Procurement Processes
*Essential Job Functions: *
• Experience in Business Warehouse plus
• Knowledge of Fiori(For MM functions) plus
*• Ariba knowledge plus.*
*Requirements: *
o Strong in implementation, configuration, customization and
maintenance(support) of SAP MM module and integration with other SAP Modules
o Based on user requirements analysis: Proposes, configures, documents
and tests business solution in SAP/MM application according to the
functional and technical requirement
o Strong knowledge of procurement processes.
o Write test scripts and perform testing of SAP MM module in DEV and QA
environment before changes/new versions/service packs or patches are
applied to SAP production client.
o Prepare and analyze reports concerning plant inventory activity.
o Analyze and prepare various procurement queries, reports related to
contract activity as required by state law and management requests.
o Prepare and maintain end user procedures for all SAP related
functionality.
o Ability to work in a team environment with both employees and
consultants is a must
o Will be required to work together under the direction of a NYPA SAP
Manager and SAP portfolio team members
o Candidates must be prepared to participate in fast track knowledge
transfer of complex environment from a number of highly experienced
consultants
o Must have the ability to communicate effectively across many different
levels of technical and business acumen.
o Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities
o Strong analytical skills focused on creating optimal solutions
o An understanding of technical concepts, principles and terminology
Education and Experience Minimum 8 years quality experience (or a
minimum of 12 years of directly related experience for non-degree holders)
including at least 6 years in an applications development and support
environment. Minimum 5 years of project Management experience within
various IT disciplines.
