These may be in different formats/structures including tools (e.g*. Informatica*, *SharePoint*), models (*VISIO/Erwin*), data sheets (*Excel*) etc. - Work closely with the business and IT teams to define data elements, metadata, master/reference data rules, processes and data quality metrics - Assist the Data governance manager with the implementation and oversight of company’s policies, standards, practices and technologies related to data management - Assist the data council and data stewards to achieve data quality, consistency and accuracy goals - Help define processes and required workflows to support on-going data governance - Work closely with application systems teams to analyze system touch points, guide deliverables such as source to target mappings - Work closely with Data Architect(s) and Application Architects to ensure alignment of data governance processes and deliverables with systems architectures. Create and deliver artifacts including but not limited to data models, data lineage and data flow diagrams. - Analyze development and production data to ensure data integrity and recommend remediation measures - Engages and partners with 3rd party vendors, internal development, and other parties as needed *Qualifications:* - *10+ years of experience in analysis, mappings, modeling, designing and implementing quality data management solutions working closely with key business stakeholders* - Well versed in data governance, information management frameworks; Understanding of Master Data management, relational databases and reference data management would be essential - *Experience with SQL development, SSIS and similar, related technologies is a plus* - Experienced in working on data management across transactional and analytical processes preferably in a global company with users across multiple business units - Experience implementing tools *(preferably Informatica*) for data management including Metadata Management (Business Glossary and Lineage), Master Data Management, profiling, cleansing, modeling (Erwin), Business Intelligence etc. - Strong knowledge of data structures and ability to efficiently manipulate/query data - Advanced skill level with Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint - Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical or equivalent experience; - Generally a minimum of 7 years related experience. In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies and methodologies. - Preferred experience in Insurance industry. - Strong negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills.
