Hello Uwe, Thanks for your reply. I realized in RWinEdt that it was linking to another project that I had made in WinEdt -- I didn't realize I could create or change projects within RWinEdt, so I don't know how I managed that! But now that I do know, that is also very convenient. So I think it's solved, or at least if it reoccurs I can work around it. Thanks, Elizabeth
